Tefzel Cable Ties
Tefzel (ETFE) cable ties rated UL 94V-0 for -60°C to +170°C service - built for nuclear power plants, chemical processing and radiation-exposed installations.
Standard nylon ties age rapidly under nuclear radiation, chemical splash and temperature extremes. The HS-TF series is extruded from UL-approved Tefzel (ETFE) fluoropolymer, which keeps its tensile strength and insulation properties where ordinary nylon turns brittle - the reason Tefzel ties are specified for nuclear power facilities and chemical processing plants.
The grade is rated UL 94V-0 flame retardant and carries a continuous operating range of -60°C to +170°C, covering cryogenic freezers and engine-bay heat in the same product. Eight sizes from 100 mm to 370 mm deliver minimum tensile strengths from 18 lbs (80 N) up to 100 lbs (450 N).
The standard blue color is the industry marker for radiation-resistant stock, so crews can separate Tefzel ties from nylon at a glance on mixed-material job sites. Custom lengths and colors are available on request; UL certified, packed in 100 pcs per bag or custom quantities.
